Sorry for the delay in response to your query and apologize for the inconvenience caused. As per the description above, you want to open the first page of a PDF file always in Adobe Reader, Is that correct?

You can also set the first page from File > Properties > Initial View (tab) > Layout and Magnification > Open to page.
