Bookmarks don't work on iPad

I have the latest acrobat version installed in my iPad and clicking in a bookmark inside a PDF file does nothing.

It should take me to the corresponding page on the document but it doesn't. The same pdf file works flawlessly with the bookmarks in my pc and acrobat reader D.C.

Hi alext32577392,

To understand it correctly, you mean to say that you can view the bookmarks on PDF. However, when you click on them it does not open the corresponding page.

Could you please let us know the exact dot version of Adobe Acrobat reader and OS installed on your device.

Did you check if it happens with other PDFs as well or an issue with this particular file?

Regards,

Meenakshi

I had a pdf where some of the bookmarks worked and some didn't. I check them out in acrobar and the "action" code was different. They needed the javascript action code to specify the page number and view. I manualy set the destination for those bookmarks that weren't working and it is fixed. Luckily they still worked in the desktop version of acrobat so ti was just a matter of clicking the bookmark, then right clicking it and "set destination."

Maybe this was your problem, maybe it wasn't, but this is what solved the issue for me.
