I also have this problem.

When I save a file from my iPhone to the Document Cloud, it shows up in the Document Cloud tab for a few seconds, then it disappears. The error message that pops up reads “Unable to save the file [File Name] to Document Cloud. A copy has been saved with the name [File Name (Recovered)] to your device.” This has happened with all the files I’ve tried saving to the cloud for the last few days.

Strangely, when I save a file to the Document Cloud on my computer, the file pops up on my phone in the Recent section, but not in the Document Cloud section.

I have an iPhone SE, iOS 12.2. I have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader for PDF downloaded from the App Store, Version 19.05.00.

Hello,

We have tried to replicate the behavior on our end in the same environment. The PDFs upload to Document Cloud without any issue.

Please try once to sign out of the application and reboot the device. Check if that helps.

You have mentioned that the files that you save to Document Cloud in the desktop application do not show in the Document Cloud location on the mobile application.

Make sure that the files saved to the Document Cloud successfully on the desktop application.

In the mobile application, go to search icon and type in the file name you are looking for and then check if it appears under the Document Cloud or not.

Did you try once to re-install the application? If not, please do as mentioned below:

- Back up your files saved on the device. Refer to the steps provided in the following help document to back up the files.

- How to back up and restore PDF documents on iPad/iPhone using iTunes

- Then uninstall the application and reboot the device.

- Install the application from the App Store.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Meenakshi

I did your suggestion of logging out and then back on, and it worked! Thank you for the basic yet useful advice. I hope this works for the original poster too.

Hi @Marley C.,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with uploading PDF files.

Would you mind trying to log in here: https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/documents/ and then checking if the files upload successfully?

Let us know if this works for you.
