Cannot edit pdf files

Hi community, i have tried searching for past incidencies similar to mine, however i have been unsuccessful.

what i am facing,

iphone and ipad do not allow me to edit pdfs

pc and another iphone are able to edit

the iphone and ipad have an error message pop up saying need the password to edit.

when i call the governing body behind this pdf, they are 100% positive that there is no password.

please help

Hope you are doing well. I am sorry to hear about your experience with editing PDFs on iPhone or iPad.

Would you mind sharing a few details for us to check on our end:

1. The Acrobat Reader mobile version you are using.

2. The iOS version you are using on your current version.

3. Is it with a particular file or with all the files.

4. Also, can you open the file on a PC, click on File-> Properties and share a screenshot of the pages that you see there.

There could be a possibility that even if there's no password, it could be made read-only.
