Every time I select something on my pdf using my iPad with Adobe Acrobat, the Comment side panel opens up. Before, I was able to select anything and move it around the pdf without the comment side panel opening. Maybe something was changed in a recent update? How do you turn off this feature? Please help!

This is happening on my ipad using Acrobat version 23.06.01 (20230712.122955). I can't find any preferences to turn off this feature. Is there any way to stop the Comment side panel from opening up everytime I select something to edit?

Hi @defaultess038wdu850,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

Would you mind sharing a few pieces of information for further investigation:

1. The app version of Acroabt Reader Mobile you are using (go to Profile-> About Adobe Acrobat);

2. The iPadOS version your device is on;

3. A screen recording of the workflow you are referring to for better understanding and assistance.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Please do not repost or share this video. I work in Animation and these are pdf exposure sheets. Animation Timers write info all over them and I double check the info using Acrobat on my iPad. Been working like this for three years now and this comments bar just started popping open recently.

Please help!

Thank you,

Justin
