Apr 24, 2025 Apr 24, 2025

Adobe Acrobat it is not allowing me to open any files whatsoever.
I have restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled my app but everything in vain.

However, my files can be opened using PDF Reader app. I am using Oneplus 13, Android 15.
Please provide the solution for this.

Hi @fuad_6290,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble with viewing files on Acrobat.

Do you see any error message when trying to open the files?

Please share a few pieces of information for further investigation:

1. The app version of Acrobat you use (go to Home > Profile > About Acrobat);

2. A screen recording of the entire event for better understanding;

3. The location where the files are saved. Are they on your device's internal storage, cloud storage;

4. A sample file where you experience the issue for us to reproduce in-house.

While you share the info, please ensure that you on the latest update of the application per your AppStore for the best experience.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Souvik.

Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out to me regarding the Adobe Acrobat app. Please review my answers to your questions below. By the way, I have an older OnePlus 9 cell phone, and the Adobe Acrobat app is working fine for opening files on the cloud.
Another App PDF Reader is working fine opening PDF files.

. The app version of Acrobat you use (go to Home > Profile > About Acrobat);

The app was downloaded from the AppStore with the latest version of 25.4.1.38544
The app was working fine before with no issues.

2. A screen recording of the entire event for better understanding;

3. The location where the files are saved. Are they on your device's internal storage, cloud storage;

The files are stored on both the cloud and device internal storage

4. A sample file where you experience the issue for us to reproduce in-house.

See attached sample file
  1.

While you share the info, please ensure that you on the latest update of the application per your AppStore for the best experience.

See attchment

The sames files can be opened by using the PDF Reader App.
Regards,
Fuad

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
