Files disappeared after Adobe Reader Crash yesterday

I had deleted the app and reinstalled. Only files that were scanned through Adobe scan remained. All of my saved. PDFs disappeared. How can I get them back?

Sorry for the troubled experience. 
Yesterday's crash of the app is not related to the file disappearance. The crash was due to online services.  

If you have uninstalled the app, it clears the Acrobat folders from the device. If the files were uploaded to the cloud drive, they will be intact.
