Fragmented looking highlight features

How can I modify the highlight feature appearance. I am not asking about color change... but the way it looks. Every time I highlight a text, it looks fragmented as when a printer ink is low. It annoys me. It does that on both my phone and samsung tab. Please, someone help.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot, it helps us understand the issue better.

However, we would also need a few more details so that we can investigate better:

1. The iOS / Android version you are using.

2. The version of the application you are using.

3. Is it with a specific document file you are using or with all the documents that you have.

4. Have you tried changing the color of the highligh once and then check.
