Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile and the delayed response.

Reading the above description, it looks like the default application to view Word Documents was changed to Acrobat Reader Mobile on your device, and thus, the issue.

You might want to check the steps on how to remove the default application for an action: Set or clear default apps
