I have a plan but can not access the features

I have a plan, pay $9.99/mo.  I am trying to import and edit a doc and am being prompted to start my 'free trial'.  The issue is, I'm already paying.  After being quite fed up and NEEDING to edit this document, I tried to sign up for the 'free trial', to then only be informed that I already have an account, which I am quite aware of.  I have changed my password and tried to sing out/sing in again.  Same messages continue popping up.  Please help!!

sorry for the late reply.

You have a registered account with us, but there's no active subscription I could see. Probably you have used a different email to purchase the $9.99 plan.

That is the reason you have been prompted for free trial. Please use the correct email for signing in.

In case you have purchased the Acrobat Premium mobile subscription and trying activate it on Acrobat DC desktop app. Then it won't work, because its only meant for mobile devices.
