Lost all comments marks

New Here ,

Hey everyone, I'm a little desperate as I use adobe acrobat as my library with all my academic texts and books. I have collected articles and books with comments and highlighted  sentences for years.

yesterday the app was crashing on any device. I did the backup on the apple cloud but it seems now that many many texts are missing and that most of them have no comments or marks at all.

is there any way to go back to my adobe status and archive of 2 days ago or something like that?

thanks for helping me

Edoardo

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and we are sorry to hear that, It sounds incredibly frustrating, especially after putting in so much effort over the years.

Acrobat might have kept a local copy on your device.

  • On iOS or iPadOS: Open the Files app → Tap On My iPhone/iPad → Look for a folder named “Acrobat”.

  • You might find some of your files still sitting there with the original highlights and comments.

If you were signed in to Acrobat with an Adobe ID, there’s a chance your files were synced to Adobe Document Cloud.

  • Visit https://adobe.ly/44903Qb and log in with the same Adobe ID you used in the app.

  • Check under “Documents” tab >“Your Documents” and see if any older versions exist.

Hope this wil help.

Regards
Amal
