Community Beginner ,
Jun 18, 2025 Jun 18, 2025

I had the issue with the adobe app kicking me out all the time. An apple tech recommended deleting and reinstall-installing the app. Now, it will open but I have lost all my local files.... 😳😳

please tell me I can get them back somehow??? I've tried everything I can think of. 😢

Hi Holly_Baker5605,

Thank you for reaching out, and we are sorry to hear about the trouble caused.

If the files were saved locally in the application, I am afraid they cannot be recovered. Once you uninstall the application on an iOS device, the data is removed along with the application, which is a design feature of iOS devices.

We always suggest backing up data when uninstalling the application on iOS devices.

If you have any files saved on Adobe Cloud Storage, you can find them on the Acrobat web account. Once you reinstall the application, you can access the files saved on the cloud from Files > Adobe Cloud Storage.

I hope this information helps you.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
