Making choice on file opening either always or once

I am no longer given a choice I opening attachments. Every file get converted to acrobat

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience and the delayed response.

From the description, it looks like the default application to open essential files has been switched to Acrobat Reader Mobile, thus, creating the experience.

You can learn how to remove default application for files here: Set or clear default apps - Pixel Phone Help 

Changing it should fix the issue for you.
