measure tool

hi everyone looking for some advicd please 

i am tring to measure a drawing i need to measure the office floor space 

1>open drawing in adobe 

2> click measure tool 

3>choose area measure 

4> change ratitio setting 

this is where im struggling the drawing is 1:100 and i need it in sqm 

so ive put 1 in 0.1 m  but it dont seem to measure correct please help

Are you using the Acrobat desktop app? The tool you mention looks like a desktop application.

Please let me know so I can move this thread to the correct board for better visibility and resolution.
