Would you mind sharing a few more pieces of information for further investigation:

1. The app version of Acrobat you are using (go to Profile-> About Acrobat);

2. The Android version of your device;

3. Have you tried with any other PDF file? Is this the same?

4. Please try changing the voice language and accent on your device once and check again.
