Opening PDF reader on iphone 7

customers send through orders in pdf but I can't open them on iPhone 7 as the characters are all corrupt, and I mean really corrupt, you are unable to read anything.

What app are they opening in? We don't have an app called "PDF Reader".

Adobe Acrobat.  Normally you can just open the email and then open the attachment and you can read it.  Even if I try to export to the adobe acrobat app it does the same.

So the PDF files look corrupt in the Acrobat app if you send it from the email to it. Any messages? What does it look like?

Sorry for the delay in response.

It seems to be the font related issue.

Did you check if you can open the PDF on your desktop application without any issue?

Check the document properties once.
