I have a large PDF file on Adobe IOS Ipad, and for the past few months I have not been able to use the search function. Search works fine in other files I have on Adobe.
The Adobe app is up to date.
When I search, the cursor will move to the page, but all that shows is the heading at the top of the page (it is a text book), but no text in the body of the page - so the search sort of works, but not really because I can't see the words.
Any help with this would be most appreciated.

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.
We tried checking the file you shared on our end, and everything worked fine. Would you mind checking any possible updates for your iOS? If yes, please update to the latest version of iOS and then check.
If the problem persists, please share a screen recording of the workflow you are following, which shows the error you are referring to, for better understanding and assistance.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Souvik,
Thanks for your reply. I upgraded to the latest IOS version, opened up the file and it worked ......and then it didn't work. Seems like the search works up to a certain page (page 156?), so it may appear to function but then all the text on the pages disappears as it continues to land on search results further into the document.
Can you test it again, searching for a bit longer to see if it does what I described above.
I don't know how to make a screen recording of the workflow? Can you instruct me on that?
Many thanks,
Andrea

I tried the workflow again. It took some time for the file to load all its contents (as it depends on the device and how fast it can render everything).
The second time I opened the file ( a few seconds after the first launch) everything loaded up fine and the search results showed up fine.
Let me know if this works for you.

Thanks for checking that again.
I do notice that there is a loading problem, or rather it loads very slowly.
It didn't do this in the beginning. Any ideas on how to speed up the loading? My Ipad is up to date, and is only using 50 out of 128 GB.....

Have you checked with the new update of the application if the issue is fixed for you or not?
Please let us know so we can check further.

Search is no longer supported. The user interface is retained for backward compatility. It just never finds anything.

Hi @jlb1984,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.
Would you mind sharing a few more pieces of information for further investigation:
1. The app version of Acrobat Reader Mobile (go to Profile-> About Acrobat);
2. The iOS version of your device;
3. A screen recording of what you see for better understanding.
Look forward to hearing from you.
