settings not saved in Reader 21.3.0 (Android)

After updateing Acrobat Reader 21.3.0 (german), the settings are not saved no more ("page by page" - german: "Seite für Seite"). Also the former position of the page last viewed is lost when reopening a document. How can I save my referred settings for the next use?
