I have purchased Adobe on my iphone but I can not log into my laptop through same subscription. I have tried troubleshooting some of the recommendations but it asks me to start trial or purchase.

Sorry for the delayed response. The fact that you are not able to use that on PC depends on which susbcription you have. May I know which susbscription have you purchased? Acrobat Reader is a free, standalone app with additional premium features that are available when you purchase a subscription. Available subscriptions include Adobe Acrobat Reader premium (in-app purchase), Adobe Acrobat Export PDFAdobe Acrobat PDF PackAdobe Acrobat Standard DCAdobe Acrobat Pro DC, or Adobe Acrobat DC for Enterprise.
