The previously available table of contents option not available only back icon is present. Is it possible to enable it ? Or should I degrade to old version?

Hi @vikram_0274,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.

From the screenshot, it looks like an older version of the app that you are using.

Would you mind clarifying the app version (go to Profile-> About Acrobat).

You can also click the three dots at the top right to check for the Table of Contents/Bookmarks in the menu.

More info here: View PDFs — Acrobat for Android Help

Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi souvik,

Thanks for the response. I just updated the app and the back icon is still inplace of table of contents. I'm aware that three dots menu option has the table of contents. But the old option on the left was more accessibleScreenshot_2024-11-16-09-57-07-214_com.adobe.reader.png

. Is it some how possible to enable it ? Any help would be appreciated.Screenshot_2024-11-16-09-52-57-419_com.adobe.reader.png

LATEST

Hi there

I hope this message finds you well.

Following your inquiry, I wanted to share that our engineering team has reviewed this matter. The behavior you’ve noted is indeed by design. The updated viewer employs a modernized interface, where certain features from the Classic Viewer, such as the Table of Contents from the top toolbar, have been restructured.

In this modern view, these elements have been streamlined and are now accessible via a context menu located behind the three-dot icon.

Hope this information will help

Regards
Amal
