Unable to edit

Hi, i was working on a document and all of a sudden it wont allow to to add a image or text, when i press the button it doesnt highlight to blue.. any ideas on how to fix this?

Could you please let me know what happens when you try to edit the PDF? Do you receive any error messages? If so, sharing a screenshot would be very helpful for us to understand the issue better. Additionally, if possible, a short video recording of the steps you're taking and the issue occurring would be greatly appreciated.

Is this problem happening with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs you try to edit? Please try editing a different PDF file to see if the issue persists.

Also, make sure to check for any pending updates for the Acrobat App. You can update it from the Play Store (for Android) or the App Store (for iOS). After updating, please reboot your device and see if that resolves the problem.
