Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile and the delayed response.
If you still experience the same issue, please open Acrobat, log out of the application -> restart your iPad-> log in again.
Once done, check the Files App again.
If this does not help, click on edit on the location selector of files app-> remove Acrobat from the list-> close the files app from the app switcher window-> open Files-> Add Acrobat.
