Hi there
I hope this message finds you well, and thank you for reaching out.
To clarify, multimedia playback in PDF files—such as embedded audio, video, and other interactive elements—is currently supported only within the desktop versions of Adobe Acrobat applications. This includes Adobe Acrobat Reader, Acrobat Standard, and Acrobat Pro on Windows and macOS platforms. Unfortunately, these features are not available in the mobile versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader for iOS and Android.
While users can still access and interact with the non-multimedia aspects of PDF files on mobile devices, they will need to use a desktop version of Adobe Acrobat to view and engage with multimedia elements embedded in the PDF.
If this is a feature you'd like to see in future mobile versions, we encourage you to share your feedback with our product engineering team. You can submit your suggestions or feature requests using the following link: Adobe Acrobat Reader for Android UserVoice.
We appreciate your input, and your feedback helps shape the future development of our products.
Thank you for your understanding, and please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or need additional assistance.
