•What is the purpose of two identical apps on the App Store?
• Which version is the first App choice?
•Which version is the second app choice?
•What is the difference between the two apps on the App Store that look identical?
•Are any of the answers to these questions reasonable?
•Why is this information not easily, readily available?
•Why did I have to create an account with my throwaway email just to be able to ask these questions?
•Why don't I hear much about Adobe anymore? nevermind- I figured that one out- Adobe is making itself irrelevant by doing stupid things like not providing version information in apps and Adobe thinks twinning an app will get twice the downloads- yes, that's how it works-
•Why does Adobe think we are just stupid- download an app twice- because the first one I downloaded works like a square wheel- maybe the second one is more circular!
Adobeis as obsolete as AOL

Adding to the points by Test Screen Name and Bernd, Acrobat Reader Mobile is only available to download once, and you won't be able to install two versions simultaneously.
Also, if you see this as such, please share a screenshot of the scenario so I can forward it to the team for further investigation.
"•Why is this information not easily, readily available?"
All information about Adobe and its applications is available on our website and accessible to everyone. You may reference the application here: FAQ | Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile app
Hope this clarifies your questions.
