I use the adobe reader app on my Samsung galaxy tab S8 (android). Why can't I zoom in or out when using continuous pages view setting? Each time I enter the continuous pages view, the zoom automatically gets set to full screen (fit to screen width) and I can't change it manually by pinching on the screen. This is possible to do in the page-by-page view but not in the continuous pages view. I don't understand why.. Also, in the page-by-page view, when I go the next page, it opens in a default "page fit" zoom. How do I disable this and retain the zoom that I was using on the previous page? Please suggest a fix for these problems , as it is ruining my reading experience. And please don't suggest the liquid mode, because I like to read the document in its original layout. Thank you!

Correction : I can zoom in, just not zoom out (to <100%).

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your trouble with Acrobat Reader Mobile.
Every viewing setting in Acrobat has its defaults and settings followed by the application.
For viewing in continuous page view mode, the maximum zoom-out ability is to "Fit to page Width," while with a Single page, every page is treated as a separate new page with its settings and preferences.
If you think this is something that can be added to the application for betterment, please feel free to fill out the feedback form. Filling out the form ensures that your feedback reaches our product team for them to look into it and try and implement the feature in the upcoming updates: https://acrobat.uservoice.com/.
For Liquid mode, have you tried disabling the option "Convert automatically to Liquid Mode for compatible documents?"
The feature is available in Home-> Profile-> Preferences.
Hope this helps.
