Acrobat reader for PDF (Version 19.10.01) iPad app freezes using fill and sign. Doesn’t return to last completed task after recovery. Completely useless.
Sorry for the trouble caused.
As the application freezing uisng the Fill & Sign feature, please sign out of the application and reboot the device.
Then open the application and check if the issue still occurs.
Take a backup of the files and then try to re-install the application.
NOTE: Please do not uninstall the application without taking any backup of the files saved in the application.
If the issue persists, share the application and OS version of the device.

I tried your suggestions, but the problem remains. The device is an apple iPad (6th Gen) running iOS 12.4.1 (this is the latest version allowed by the administrator). The Adobe app version number is 19.10.02.
