I am trying to use adobe reader on my amazon fire 10 (7th gen) to fill in pdf forms.  I'm able to select the field and make changes to the text there but I can't see a way to close the keyboard at the bottom of the screen or save my changes.  I can't swipe down to close the keyboard and no menu opens when I swipe at the left, top, or right edge.

Is there a basic acrobat for amazon fire user manual?  The ones I find for generic android do not reflect what I am seeing on my amazon fire.

I too would ask Adobe to update the reader in Amazon app store.

The version I found there is 15.3.1 (last updated in Feb 2016)

and it is apparently far behind the one in Google Play store.

The Google Play version works quite well for me while 15.3.1 has many problems.

So I suggest Adobe synchronize or even remove it in Amazon store.

Thank you.

Hi,

I would like to know why is Adobe reader unavailable on Amazon app store.

There's other option?

Thanks

There is a way to download Adobe on a Kindle Fire 10. Make sure "apps from unknown sources" is on.

Next go to the APKPure web site where you can download the app.

Once the APK Pure app has downloaded then open it, making sure you ignore any pop up ads that crop up.

Open the app and search for the Adobe app, which can then be downloaded.

Might be a bit slow so be patient but it does work and I use it as my default pdf reader.

Good luck to anyone who needs this as it is so much better than the standard kindle reader, which you can't print from.
