I updated the adobe acrobat reader to version 18.09.13 on my iPhone this morning.  iPhone is running ios 11.4.1.

Now when I open the app, I get the home screen and it just freezes on that screen.  App no longer works.

Anyone else having these issues?

Hi Giorgiab,

Sorry for the delay in response.

As you have mentioned above, you have lost all the files.

Are you referring to the files on Document Cloud and Local? Or just the local files?

In the new Acrobat UI, refer to the steps mentioned below to open the files:

- Launch the application and go to the Files option provided at the bottom of the window.

- Now, tap on "Location" from the top left corner of the window.

- Select the location from where you wish to open the document.

Check if you can find the documents listed there.

Please let us know

(a) If you cannot find local files in the new Acrobat UI (Files > Locations > On This iPad/iPhone).

Or

(b) lost local files because you have uninstalled Acrobat?

For situation (b) local files are gone permanently. It may be possible to restore from iCloud or iTunes backup. You may refer this help link Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

Please share the current version of the application installed on your device, if you still not able to locate the documents.

We will be waiting for your response.

Please update the thread if the issue is already resolved.

Regards,

Meenakshi
