Dear Development Team, I have been using your application for a long time for scanning documents. It is a great application that is helping me a lot in my work.
Recently, I have switched to a new android device (Xiaomi tablet PC). After that, the camera shutter sound began to appear every time I take a picture (even when it is set on mute). There is no sound when I’m using it to take a photograph (I just switch the shutter sound off in the settings and put the tablet on mute).
Is there a way to turn off the shutter sound in your application?
Thank you for your great work. Best wishes.

Hi Kutuzkin,
Could you please let us know the version of Acrobat Reader app installed on the machine?
To check the version, launch Reader>tap 3 vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen>Help.
Tap three vertical dots again and select About Adobe Acrobat
What is the version of Android installed on the tablet?
From the device home screen, tap Settings>About Phone

Adorobat, thanks for your reply.
The version of the app is 17.0 (build 164574) and the version of Android on my tablet is 4.4.4 KTU84P. I have borrowed a Galaxy Tab S from a friend with Android v. 6.0.1 and have tried it with the same version of the application, the result was the same (the camera sound appeared every time I tried to scan).

Hi Kutuzkin,
Thank You for sharing the info.
Could you please try reinstalling the Acrobat Reader app and see if that helps?

I have already tried reinstalling the app several times but to no avail.
Just tried it once more on two different devices, the sound still appears.
