I am using File Browser app by Stratospherix to reach files on my network through the iphone’s Files App. After the latest update of  Acrobat for iPhone when I browse my network and try to open a document I get the following message: “could not open xxx.pdf due to an unknown error. Please try again later.” I think this is a bug to be fixed. Any advice to sort it out would be very helpful.

Hi hakanb33282685,

Would you please describe how you open a document using the Files app?

Do you launch the Files app, select a document from cloud storage, and select "Open in Acrobat"?  Which cloud storage (e.g. iCloud Drive, Google Drive, OneDrive) do you use?

The following information would be helpful for our investigation as well.

  • iOS version
  • Acrobat version
  • the version of the cloud storage app that you use on your iPhone/iPad

Please let us know if you are still having the same problem after updating Acrobat to the latest version.

Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your return.

I almost forgot what the problem was.

As you mentioned after the latest update the issue is fixed. I can reach both the cloud storage (iCloud Drive, OneDrive, Google Drive) and my configured network locations.

Cheers,

Hakan
