Hi, I found out that after the new update I am unable to select text on files that I converted from epub to PDF. What can I do to fix this? Files contain real text, and are unlocked. Thank you!

I can select text on the same file on Desktop though, just to make things clear

Hi Igorpavkovic,
Sorry for the delay in response.
We have recently released an update to Adobe Acrobat Reader 18.10.02 to App Store.
Please update the application and check if you still experience the issue.
Let us know how it goes.
If the issue still persists, please check if it occurs with the particular PDF or with all.
Are you trying to select the text to highlight or to copy it?
Let us know if the issue is already resolved or if you still need help with the issue.
We will be waiting for your response.
Regards,
Meenakshi

Hi, unfortunately the problem is still here. I've tried several PDF files
but its all the same. I have updated the app and I've tried uploading
documents again to the Document Cloud, but I still can't select text(I want
to highlight it mostly, but also sometimes copy)
Thank you!

Hi Igorpavkovic,
Sorry for the delay in response.
With the new update, we have changed the gesture for highlighting text from drag to long press-and-drag.
Here are the steps to highlight a text:
- Tap on the commenting tools button to get to the commenting mode.
- Tap on the highlight button.
- Long press on the beginning of the text you want to highlight until a magnifying glass appears
- Drag the sentence to highlight the rest of your text.
Alternatively, if you do not have the commenting mode active, you can also long press on a word, and commenting options will appear for you, including highlight.
Check if that helps.
Let us know if you still experience any issue or referring to something else.
Regards,
Meenakshi
