Yes, you can convert the Word file to PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader on iPad with your Adobe Acrobat DC subscription.

Make sure that you use the same Adobe ID (email address) to sign-in that you used to purchase the subscription.

Then only you will be able to create PDF on your iPad.
