Hello,
Having created a template on my laptop for a fillable form, saving it accordingly (Save As Other>Reader Extended PDF>Enable More Tools) then when I open that template in Reader if i fill one of the fields out then try to come out of the form it asks me to Save As and opens a window accordingly to offer me where to save it. Once done I can open the template again and do the same...
This is fine but when i open the template on my iPad in Reader it keeps saving the template and not offering me to Save As - which is frustrating as i want to keep the template and save it just like on my laptop...
how do i force this to do it?

Hi davidb6647703,
Unlike the desktop Acrobat/Reader app, the mobile Acrobat app does not have a "Save As" option. Any changes made to a PDF document will be saved automatically when the document is closed.
You can make a duplicate copy of your template document first.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

On the iPad copy the template, open the copy, and fill the copy.

Hi there,
thanks for the reply... but not really the answer looking for.
Templates as in their designation should work on the principal of not amending the template but saving as something else. The way you have said is what I am already doing but as with all IT systems there's always flaws... and this is clearly something Adobe have not sorted out.
Why work on PC etc. but not on iPad?
It's an Apple thing I suppose...
