Disappearing pdfs

On my Samsung Galaxy S7 some newly downloaded pdfs disappear. They aren't in the "Recent" or "Local" sections. However, when I click the file icon displayed in Recent section, the file names are there. When I select one a window pops up saying: "Opening file.... Adobe Acrobat will create a local copy of this document." I select continue and a dialog box opens and closes quickly but the pdf is not listed in Recent or Local.

Hi Rowdyr,

The pdf files you are referring above, where exactly you have those saved? Is it online or saved locally on your mobile device?

If this is happening with multiple files, then-

  • Check the application's update is anything is pending there.
  • Or if that doesn't work then you may uninstall and reinstall the app once.

Note: Uninstalling the app will remove the local files of the the application.

Still no luck, please send us any of the sample file which is causing trouble for you.

"You can share the file with us via email. And you can send it to the email that is shared via private message. Please do mention your forum thread in the subject"

Regards,

Akanchha
