Our company locks PDFs using Adobe Acrobat. We choose the options to allow commenting, filling in form fields & signing, and low resolution printing.
Using Adobe Reader in Windows we can highlight and comment the PDFs, but using Adobe Reader on an iOS device we cannot.
How can we set things up so that this work for iOS devices? Is this a restriction of the iOS version of Adobe Reader?
Thanks,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
It is not possible to add comments to the secured PDF on Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile application (on both iOS or Android).
This is an as designed behavior.
Hope that answers your query.
Let us know if you have any questions.

Hi Meenakshi,
Thanks for your answer, that does clear things up.
A bit of an odd design choice to ignore the selected security options. I guess that maybe you can't build as much functionality into the mobile version of the application, is that the reason?
Thanks,
Daniel

Yes, we have some limitation for the mobile applications.
The mobile application does not have all the features which are available on the desktop application.

Hi there,
Will this be an added feature in the mobile app the future?
(recognising custom security settings in encrypted PDF files).
