Hi, I am creating an interactive pdf for ipad with basic actions, using the show/hide a field. The interactive pdf works on desktop, but does not work on the Acrobat Reader for ipad.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I would also really hlike help with this. I'm using simple show/hide buttons and publishing the PDF online - the buttons are working perfectly well on desktop and even mobile but for some reason not on tablet. Does anyone know why?

The link posted by Adorobat didn't work for me either, but I did a search in the form and came up with this (but it doesn't solve the problem): https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/pdf-layer-buttons-don-t-work-on-mobile/m-p/8381323?page=1

Hello,

Although the pdf interactive option is not reliable on mobile devices, you can publish it online, you will be able to have the pdf interactivity and you can also make animations, transitions and other richer than pdf stuff. You get a link to the document that you can share with your clients, you can also set an option to let viewers download the file as pdf, or not.

Adobe has simply decided to stop supporting interactive PDF features on iOS and Android. I am afraid this is another case, like Flash and Muse etc where Adobe cannot see the value in supporting thier customers. If you contact them to tell them that Adobe DC Pro is nolonger able to use its core functinality like sign, hide, simple Js, they simply do not care.

Adobe sees us as small developers who are not worth their time. They do not realize we are the Designers, engineers etc that support large companies. So they simply ignore these support community entries and let features, functinality and somtimes whole applications lanquish.

It was not always this way.
