I try to look at a file says it password protected ive never set this up how do I disable it
If you received the file from someone else, you need to find out from them what the password is and enter it at the time you try to open the PDF file.
If you created the PDF file, you need to remember the password you applied to that file.
Otherwise, there is no way to open that PDF file. Neither the PDF file format nor Adobe have any secret back door to get around the password. Otherwise, password protection wouldn't be worth anything!
Password problem in document
Just posting “password problem in document” means nothing? What problem are you encountering? If you are being prompted for a password, you must supply it. See me response above! 😉
See my response earlier in this thread.
If you are being prompted to enter a password, then the PDF file is password-protected by whoever created the PDF file or sent the PDF file to you. And each PDF file can potentially have its own password. If you don't know the password (or can't get the password from whoever created or sent you the PDF file) and cannot enter it, there is no way to open such a PDF file.
