Problem with new version of Acrobat Reader app on iPad

Renaming a file is gone.  Makes app useless on iPad

Please bring this feature back.  Creating pdf’s on iPad did not and does not allow for naming the file in the first place.  The assigned name is practically meaningless, so being able to rename the file after it is created is essential.

I just updated reader to 18.09.14 and have the same problem.  In addition reader is now so slow that it’s unusable.  I have thousands of pdf files.  Reader is apparently reading the first page and showing it on the fingernail, a feature that I don’t need.  there used to be a navigation column/key of letters on the right which I use to jump to files starting with a certain letter, but that’s gone.  Please can you add it back?

is there anyway of rolling back to the previous version?

Sorry for the delay in response.

The option to rename the file is still there.

Please refer to the steps mentioned below:

- Launch Reader and go to Files > Locations.

- Select any one location from the list of options.

- Tap on the three dots at the right of the folder/ file.

- Select the Move/ Rename option from the pop-list that appears.

There has been an update released i.e. version 18.10.1. which resolves the issue of navigation letters on the right.

Please make sure that you have updated the application.
