Could you please let us know if you get the error on this particular document?

Try opening other documents an check if that works fine.

Also, try once to reboot the device. Check if that helps.

As you have mentioned that the document was saved locally, from where exactly you have received the document?

Did you receive the document in an email or from some other location? You may check if the document is still available there.

Please let us know the make and model of the device and the application version installed on it.

Also, share the OS version on the device.
