Hi folks

We have just started getting reports of users being unable to view PDFs within Internet Explorer. Whenever they click on PDF links, they get the infamous 523:523 error. We have tried the following:-

If we disable the add-in, Reader pops up and correctly displays the PDF.

If we turn Protected Mode off, the PDF is displayed in Internet Explorer.

Whitelisting acrord32.exe has also been suggested. None of these solutions is acceptible. Does anyone know why this has suddenly started affecting users? What do Adobe reccomend as a solution?

Kind regards

Derek
