My reader is always crashing when I try do locate (CTRL + F) some words on the text. I've already uninstalled and installed it, but it keeps crashing. What could be the cause?

Hi Bernardo,

Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the trouble.

We did try replicating the issue at our end and it is working fine. we cannot comment on what exactly may have caused this issue. Did you check if the issue occurs with all the PDF or with a particular one? If it happens with a particular file, please share that file with us so we can check it on our end.

You may try the troubleshooting steps suggested here https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-crashes-on-windows-os.html and check if that makes any difference. Also, ensure that the application is updated to the latest version.

If the above steps do not work, try removing the application using the clenaer tool (https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html) and reboot the machine. Then reinstall the application from this link: https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
