Acrobat Reader DC crashes when opening signed document (Exit Code:3221226505)

Hi there,

I have a problem when opening a signed document in Acrobat Reader DC Version 2020.006.20042

Reader crashes when trying to authenticate the signatures in the document.

An unsigned version of the same document works properly.

I've turned on debug mode and generated a report where I found "Exit Code:3221226505" at exact time of crash.

Can someone please advise on this issue ? Is there any fix about this ?
Can this be linked with the document settings ? Any suggestion for a workaround ?

Hi everyone,

After further investigation and multiple tests, we found that the problem is related to hyperlinks included in the signature annotations in the signed PDF file.

The original PDF itself includes links, and apparently the signature annotations "repeat" them in the signature's metadata.

The following test hightlighted the problem : using the same PDF but with no links included in the text, the signed version opens up correctly in Adobe reader (no crash.)

Looking inside the faulty signed PDF, it seems that the following annotations make reader crash :
