I have a computer with Reader DC installed and it will only print PDFs in black and white. This is a Win7 Pro x86 machine. Using other programs such as Word or Excel and win test print it has no issues printing in color. The troubleshooting steps I have taken:

  • Updated printer driver
  • Updated Reader DC
  • Uninstalled and Reinstalled Reader DC
  • Verified that the "print in grayscale" box is not checked.
  • Looked through setting in print menu for other color vs b&w options.

Any ideas? Maybe a registry setting that didn't get reset with the uninstall and reinstall? I am at a loss and I really do not want to image the computer for such a minor issue. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Snowtech,

Thanks for sharing the detailed information.

Could you please try to change one more setting to see if that works.

Go to print> Advance > Color management > (Check) Let printer determine color> OK

Hope this will help.

Regards,

Akanchha
