I'm getting an error message every time I try to open a pdf document directly, and when I try to open AR DC from a desktop icon and from the Start menu. I've also tried opening documents and AR DC as an administrator.
I've done a search, but the few answers I've found do not work, possibly as they refer to Mac or earlier Windows versions.
Any ideas?

Hi Randersonalla,
Firstly, Launch Reader. Help menu> repair installation. Restart your machine and try again.
Also, you may try the suggestions from this link: 'internal error occurred' (Acrobat Reader) .If this doesn't help try enabling Hidden Admin account https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/555910 and test from there.
Let us know if that makes any difference.
