adobe acrobat failed to load its Core DLL

I  have had this problem for over a week. I have uninstalled and re-installed adobe reader X1 more than 3 times. I have also re-installed my OS system windows 7, still no resolve. I am running windows 7 64 bit software. I need a solution for the problem.

is there anyone out there WHO CAN HELP ME with this problem?????

Hi ustur,

When the core library does not work anymore, Acrobat / Reader can no longer run because the components it depends on do not load.

This error is known for conflicting Antivirus softwares like CA, Norton,Mc Afee etc.

As dozens of other similar topics in this forum indicate, the error may be the result of a rootkit infection.

Google for "scan for rootkits" and check your computer for such an infection.
