Adobe DC Pro wont save formatting

I am trying to save properties within a PDF (see screenshots) and they won't. 

When I reopen the document it reverts back to "deafult" even though I have saved the document.

Once the field is cleared those settings will be gone. There's no way to save them as the default, I'm afraid.
