Adobe keeps sending me malware to desktop

I want Adobe to quit sending malware to desktop.

Please list the malware installed. 
Or is this a rather inaccurate way of saying "Adobe put an icon for Acrobat Reader on the desktop, and I wish it wouldn't"?
