Hello.
I have created a PDF document with form fields with Adobe Acrobat Pro. I have protected the document with an edition password. NOT a password to open or to read the document, only to limit the edition of the fields.
I have created the file for a client, who has only Acrobat Reader. He has to be able to modificate the file with Reader (he will have the password) and to send it to his clients. The clients of my client will see the file, but they will not be able to modificate it, because they won't have the password.
I have looked everywhere in Reader (and in Internet) where to introduce the edition restrictions password, but I haven´t found anything. The question is: there is some way to change the edition-password protected properties with the password in Reader? Something like to introduce the open-file-password, but only for the edition limits.
Thank you very much,
Sara
No. Reader can't apply, edit or remove a security policy. They will need Acrobat for that.

Do you know if there is some way to export an editable (without password) PDF file with form fields as non-editable PDF, only with Reader? I haven't found anything to do this, "print as PDF" doesn't work neither...

Best way is to digitally sign it.
