have signed into my account to see the payment - it signs me in fine and tells me I have a current Export PDF plan. But when I go to the PDF and sign in it says error on signing in. So the email and password work to access accounts info but not to export the pdf. What is wrong?

What is the error message/code you are getting? Could you please share the screenshot?
What is the application and the version you are using? to check the version of the application please use the link - https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html
Please try to remove the application using Adobe Acrobat Cleaner Tool - https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html , restart the computer and install the application using the link - https://get.adobe.com/reader/ and check if that works for you.
Also, you may try to export the PDF online - https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/home/
