Hi,

I use a software to annotate the PDF in different colours. When seen in Ocular, it is ok. But when this PDF is viewed in PDF acrobat or any web viewer, the colours of all anotations changes to yellow. Guys any solution to this? Thanks a lot!!

Did you report this to the makers of the software (whatever it is) that you use to make the annotations?

Yes, I did. They replied back that since it is clear in one software (Ocular) and not in other, they cant give any solution. It would have been the software issue if every viewer including PDF acrobat reader has only one colour annotation. Strangely it changes all colours only to Yellow colour which is the default colour of annotation.

Are you able to share (perhaps on a sharing site) a PDF that has these problem mark ups? A very simple test with a few words would be ideal.

That reply is a cop out. If it displays one way in one application but another in a different one it could very well be that the annotation is not created correctly but one application interprets it one way (or fixes it for you), while the other does so in another way.
